Anxiety
Overview: It is a natural reaction to any problem we face
in life in general, and the reaction can be simple and called temporary anxiety
and it comes in faraway cases, and it can be excessive anxiety and this type
causes fear for the human condition in the event that anxiety is in close cases.
Types of anxiety disorders
1- Cases of adaptation disorder: It
means the person's inability to adapt to the surrounding circumstances, such as
family, friends, or after failed relationships, and other influencing crises,
and its symptoms include feeling nervous and nervous.
2- Cases of generalized anxiety disorder: This condition
is the most common among the population, and it is spread by 5%, and it affects
males and females at a similar and similar rate. The case of general anxiety is
diagnosed by not controlling the feeling and always busy with many things,
which increases dread, anticipation, fear and lack of sleep.
3- Panic disorder: This disorder affects women more than
men, as it is widespread and common by up to 3 to 4%, and a third of cases of
panic are based on awe from open places and crowds, and it spreads among women
by three to one.
symptoms of anxiety:
It is difficult for a person to lead
his normal life, considering excessive anxiety, and the rate of anxiety varies
from case to case according to the person and his psyche, and the following
symptoms of anxiety are:
1- a person's feeling of constant
headache.
2-The person feels fanaticism and
tension.
3- A person’s feeling of lack of
focus.
4-The person feels tired and
overwhelmed.
5- Feeling irritable and impatient.
6-Feeling of chronic insomnia.
7-Feeling of suffocation and
excessive sweating.
8-Feeling of severe stomach pain and
frequent diarrhea.
10-Addiction to medical tablets.
11- Intestinal disorder.
12- Feeling of grating, especially
during sleep.
An anxiety attack:
An anxiety attack is a feeling of anxiety, fear, or
distress that causes suffocation. For many, the anxiety attack is slowly
increasing.
Common symptoms of an anxiety attack may be:
1- Fainting
2-Shortness of breath
3- Dry mouth and throat
4- Sweating
5- shudder
6- Fear and anxiety
7- Insomnia
8- Distress
9- Numbness or tingling
Causes of anxiety:
The main cause of anxiety is not yet known, but
environmental and genetic factors may be the cause
Additionally, researchers believe that areas of the
brain responsible for controlling fear may be affected
Anxiety treatments:
Not all anxiety cases require treatment, but if you
are diagnosed by a doctor or notice that your symptoms of anxiety are abnormal,
your condition will require treatment:
Treatment in normal or severe conditions is very
beneficial and makes your life comfortable
As psychological therapy may be beneficial and change
the way you live and make you more dealing with anxiety and its attacks
The medications commonly used to treat anxiety are
antidepressants and sedatives. It balances the brain's chemistry, preventing
anxiety attacks.
